GROCERY LIST SUGGESTIONS ON A BUDGET

Brown rice (by the bag)
Chicken breasts (always check expiration date)
Ground meat (turkey sausage or chicken sausage)
Peanut butter 
Apples (great pre-workout fuel)
Bananas 
Eggs 
Frozen fruit 
Frozen vegetables (peas, green beans, broccoli, etc)
Sweet potatoes 
Tomatoes 
Oats 
Brown sugar 
Canned tunafish (low sodium)
Fresh fruit (blueberries or blackberries)
Celery (avoid pre-cut if you are trying to save money)
Carrots (avoid pre-cut if you are trying to save money)
Romaine lettuce (avoid pre-cut if you are trying to save money)
Cold cuts (avoid fresh cut deli meat if you are trying to save money)
Beans (chickpeas, black beans, kidney Beans, pinto beans) 
Lentils
Canned veggies (make sure to rinse them with water before eating to eliminate salt)
Coffee (by the bag, not K-cups. K-cups are pricier)
